Born and raised in Denver, Juan knew all the best food spots and couldn’t get enough of them. Growing up he was always told by doctors that he was obese. His health declined when he topped the scale at 280 pounds and poor self-esteem eventually led Juan to decide to make changes to his lifestyle. Through small adjustments to his eating habits and incorporating fitness, specifically body building, he was able to make significant changes to his health and body composition. After losing 100 pounds he adopted the belief that no matter what the circumstances he is capable of improvement and never looked back. Juan became a personal trainer after realizing that many others, like himself, would benefit from guidance through the tough journey of living a healthier lifestyle. For the past two years he has given people the encouragement and truth needed to make the tangible changes they desire. Outside of training Juan is grateful to have a body that allows him to partake in the adventure and competition he craves like playing lacrosse, running, hiking and obstacle courses. He is passionate about supporting others on their trek to fitness and freedom.
Hobbies : Lifting weights, running, golf brewery hopping
